There are a number of exciting things happening in The Gallery at LE Shore, both onsite and virtually.
ACC Presents: The Trans Bhutan Trail
This is the first ACC Presents that will occur since the global pandemic began, and like others, our inability to gather has moved us to a virtual presentation. Applicants can register through Thursday for this presentation on our Event Calendar and a Zoom Link will be sent to you.
Lying between China and India, bordering with Tibet across the Himalayas, Bhutan is a landlocked country in South Asia that is a premier destination for high-value tourism. The Trans Bhutan Trail Project (TBT) will restore and reconnect the centuries old historic path that runs 430km through Central Bhutan from Trashigang to Haa. This trail will provide connection for local communities and educational opportunities for youth. It will also create an accessible, unique cultural and nature-based tourism product encouraging travel in Eastern Bhutan.
Catherine and Stephen will provide an overview of the project including photos that depict the diversity of the land, the uniqueness of the people; highlighting Bhutan as a very special, unique, remote part of the world.
